Buy with extreme caution.

I'm giving this book 4 stars because it was in fact, very helpful in studying for the CSWE exam. (TOO helpful, in fact. See below) It gets -1 star because I felt that for a book that's supposed to help you study for the EXPERT level exam, it was written in a manner that seemed to be explaining the steps to a first time user, which became very draining and cumbersome at times.
WARNING: This book is not simply a study guide for the CSWE exam concepts, it is in fact a walk-through of the exam itself. The practice problems are basically exactly the exam problems. I warn you about this because I've been a SolidWorks user for 9 years now, worked through my professional level exam and 4 advanced topics and was excited for the culmination of all that work with this exam. However, when I began the CSWE exam I was terribly disappointed that I had already seen, and worked through those exact problems. It really ruined the exam for me. Both because I look forward to the challenges and stress of the exams, and because this book cheapens the value of the certification itself. Unfortunately, I'll now never know if I had what it took to pass the exam on my own merit because I had already worked through all its problems :(
If you want to know if you truly deserve to be a CSWE, or you actually enjoy taking the exams. Don't buy or use this book.

Great investment to Pass you CSWE

If you want you CSWE you should get this book, i bought it studied it and took my test got 100%. but you will need to take it soon i would have to think that Solidworks will be switching up there test soon it been the same since 2010. then this book as a study guide will be not very helpful.

Great investment

This book was a great help as I passed the CSWE with over an hour to spare and only missing 1 question. I would recommend going through the book twice as you will see these problems on the exam. If you are comfortable solving the problems then you should ace the test. Book was a great purchase and I now am 1 of 2382 CSWE's worldwide.
